TOURNAMENT 
The eleventh edition of Europe Top 12 in Miskolc saw a victory of the local favorite – Tibor Klampar. The Hungarian and the Swedish international Stellan Bengtsson, both finished tournament with 9 wins. Klampar had a long-fought game against Bengtsson, and Hungarian managed to take a 3-2 win that decided the eventual champion. The Yugoslav veteran Dragutin Šurbek won the bronze medal. Interestingly, for all three medallists of this tournament – it was their final medal of Europe Top 12 in their career.
