1981 TOURNAMENT 1983

The twelfth edition of Europe Top 12 in Nantes brought some new faces to the competition, such as the eventual winner of the tournament, the 21-year-old Swedish international – Mikael Appelgren. He lost just two games in Nantes, securing the first Europe Top 12 in his career. The Czechoslovak veteran Milan Orlowski finished second, and the England’s international Desmond Douglas won the bronze medal.
