The 50th edition of the Europe Top 16 was held in Thessaloniki for the first time in tournament’s history. The 29-year-old German international Patrick Franziska enjoyed a great run and won his first Europe Top 16 title in his career. In the final, he overcame the Portuguese veteran – Marcos Freitas, securing a 4-1 win.
