The best European players met in Swiss city Montreux to find out, who is the best European player at the moment. The 23-year old Slovenian Darko Jorgic showed a great consistency throughout the tournament and won the final against Swedish talent Truls Moregardh in a dramatic fashion, coming back from 1-3 and winning the decisive seventh set. German veteran Timo Boll added another medal to his collection, reaching the semi-finals.
