Robert Gardos was born 16 January, 1979 in Budapest, Hungary. Until the age of 18, he competed as a part of Hungarian national team. Later, Gardos began to represent the Austrian team.
He is a 3-time European champion – twice in doubles and once, in team event. Gardos has won bronze medals at World Cup and World Tour Finals competitions. On the professional circuit, he has won one title in singles and doubles events.
