The tenth edition of Europe Top 12 in Munich was dominated by the 28-year-old Swedish international Stellan Bengtsson, who won all eleven matches, losing only five sets in total. It was his second and final title of this tournament. His teammate, Ulf Thorsell finished second, the experienced Frenchman – Jacques Secretin won the bronze medal.
