The fifth edition of Europe Top 12 in the Austrian capital saw a total dominance of the Swedish star Kjell Johansson, who won 10 out of 11 games, losing only to the Hungarian leading player – Istvan Jonyer in a tough duel with a final score of 2-3. The Yugoslav international Antun Stipančic won the silver medal.
