Table Tennis World Ranking In 1998

1997 YEAR 1999


The 23-year-old Belarussian star Vladimir Samsonov became the World Ranking leader for the first time in his career after winning the European Championships. He also added a gold medal at the Europe Top 12 tournament. The European Championships finalish Zoran Primorac finished the year at second position, while the Chinese international Wang Liqin was ranked third after winning the Asian Championships title.
