Liu Guoliang (Chinese: 刘 国梁) was born 10 January, 1976 in Xinxiang, China.
He won gold medals at the 1996 Olympic Games in singles and doubles events. Liu Guoliang is a 6-time World champion – 3 times in team, twice in doubles, and once in singles and mixed doubles events. He also won two World Cup titles in team event. On the professional circuit, the former World Ranking leader won 6 singles and 10 doubles titles. In 2001, he won the Chinese Super League title.
