Chuang Chih-Yuan (Chinese:莊智淵) was born 2 April, 1981 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
In 2013, Chih-Yuan won the World Championships in the doubles event. In 2008, he won the World Tour Finals in singles event. On the professional circuit, Chih-Yuan won 5 titles in singles and two in doubles events. On the club level, Taiwanese legend has won two German Bundesliga and one title in Chinese Super League, Polish Superliga, French Pro A and ETTU Cup.
