Zsolt Kriston was born 12 February, 1961 in Miskolc, Hungary.
Kriston won the 1982 European Championships in team event. He is a 12-time Hungarian champion – 5 times in doubles, 4 times in mixed doubles and three times in singles event. On professional circuit, Kriston won three doubles titles in his career. On club level, he won 4 Hungarian Extraliga, two Champions League, and one Austrian Bundesliga and ETTU Cup title.
