Vincent Purkart was born June 25, 1935 in Montargis, France.
He was a 7-time French champion – 4 times in doubles, twice in singles and once in mixed doubles event. On the club level, Purkart won 11 French Pro A titles. Together with Jacques Secretin, they had a popular table tennis show.
Purkart died on November 11, 2015 at the age of 79.
