Tomokazu Harimoto (Japanese: 張本智和) was born 27 June, 2003 in Sendai, Japan. He was born into a family of professional table tennis players and started to play table tennis at the age of two.
Harimoto has won 5 professional tour titles in singles event. In August 2017, Japanese wonderkid became the youngest World Tour winner in singles even at the age of 14. He is a 5-time Japanese champion – twice in doubles and mixed doubles and once, in singles event. On the professional circuit, Harimoto has won 6 titles in singles and one in doubles event. On club level, he has won 4 Japanese T-League titles.
