Teng Yi (滕义) was born in 1964 in China.
In 1987, he became the World champion in team event. The same year, Teng Yi won the singles event of the World Cup. He is a 4-time Asian champion – twice in doubles and team events. On professional circuit, Teng Yi won three singles and one doubles title in his career.
