Steffen Fetzner was born 17 August, 1968 in Karlsruhe, Germany.
In 1989, Fetzner won the World Championships in doubles event. In 1992, he reached the final of the Olympic Games in doubles event. Fetzner has won several silver and bronze medals at the European Championships and World Cup. On the national level, Fetzner is a 7-time German champion – 6 times in doubles and once in singles event. On professional circuit, German international won three doubles titles in his career. On the club level, he won 6 German Bundesliga titles, 4 Champions League and two ETTU Cup titles.
