Sofia Polcanova was born 3 September, 1994 in Chisinau, Moldova. Since 2010, she has been representing Austria on the international arena.
Polcanova has participated in three Olympic Games (2016, 2020, 2024). She is a 3-time Euopean champion – twice in singles, and once, in doubles event. On national level, she is a 8-time Austrian champion – 4 times in doubles, and twice, in singles and mixed doubles event.
