Laszlo Bellak was born 11 February, 1911 in Budapest, Hungary. As the World War II began, he became the American citizen.
Bellak was a 7-time World champion – 6 times in team event and once, in mixed doubles. He was a 4-time Hungarian champion – twice in doubles and mixed doubles events. On professional circuit, Bellak won 5 singles and 6 doubles titles. On club level, he won one Hungarian Extraliga title.
