Janos Molnar was born in 1959 in Hungary.
In 1982, he became European champion in team event. Molnar is a 5-time Hungarian champion – three times in doubles and twice, in mixed doubles event. On professional circuit, he won one doubles title in his career. On club level, Molnar has won 6 Hungarian Extraliga, two ETTU Cup and one Champions League title.
