The 2024/25 Russian Premier League season once again brought together some World-class players, including the Chinese international Zhou Qihao, as well as Croatian stars – Andrej Gacina and Tomislav Pucar, who had the best record in the league, winning 23 out of 27 games. Led by Zhou Qihao, the UMMC team won the title, beating their biggest rivals – Gazprom Fakel team in the finals 3-1. The Chinese international won both of his games in the decisive match-up.
