The history of Norwegian table tennis has seen periods of domination in the national arena by players, like Knut HåvågGeir André ErlandsenTom Johansen, and Pål Guttormsen. Each of them had solid championship runs in different periods. The most accomplished player in Norwegian history is Knut Håvåg with 32 gold medals in the national championships. He also enjoyed great success with SK Heros in the Norwegian League, winning 7 titles in his career.
