Shigeo Itoh (Japanese: 伊藤繁雄) was born 21 January, 1945 in Shunan, Japan.
The former World Ranking leader won the 1969 World Championships in singles & team events. Itoh is a 6-time Asian champion – 3 times in team event, twice in doubles and once in mixed doubles event. He is a 6-time Japanese champion – 4 times in doubles and two times, in singles event. On professional circuit, Itoh won one doubles title in his career.
