Ivan Andreadis was born 3 April, 1924 in Prague, Czechoslovakia.
During his prime, Andreadis was one of the best players in the world. He still remains one of the most accomplished players in the World Championships history with 9 gold medals – 4 times in doubles and team, once in mixed doubles event. On professional circuit, Andreadis won one title in singles and 6 titles in doubles events.
He died 27 October, 1992 in Prague.
